In the history of League of Legends, many generals have been launched and also a large number of them are still common to date. There are even many generals that are considered beyond the meta, which does not depend on any update or editing, such as Azir or Lee Sin.

However, more than among them are the generals thanks to the change that also becomes “hegemony” options. Of course, Riot still tries to create a balanced game but it is clear that this NPH is not really successful. The general who is “storming” in the summer of 2024 is the most obvious evidence.

The name is making many teams “crying” no matter how long the summer of 2024 has not started, Skarner. In fact, not until now, Skarner is used much. But to say, in just a short time, Skarner has become a very popular name. Up to now, Skarner has been banned 596 times and selected 232 times. For anyone who does not know, throughout the spring tournament, Skarner is only banned 23 times and appears in a mere 2 games.

The “terrible” difference of Skarner is recorded in all domestic tournaments around the world. Worth mentioning, even in Fearless Draft mode applied at LPL, Skarner also dominates almost absolute in the top line. Specifically, this general was banned 34 times and was selected 30 times. In other words, if a team ban/select Skarner in the previous game, the other team may do the same thing in the next game.

The general of Riot is too effective and no team has a way to overcome except for the ban. Skarner may lose the road but will still be strong at the end of the game. And if this general is “green” early, the game will be almost one way, like the last Gen.G – T1 match is an example.

Meanwhile, Riot has not shown any move that can reduce the power of Skarner in some updates. And perhaps, the teams can only use the ban to eliminate this champion temporarily while waiting for Riot.
