The time when the professional AOE's managing units were still deadlocked and struggling on the path to finding directions to revive the legendary empire game, while many professional AOE players were mutually resolved, … a completely new name appeared with a bold idea to help AoE Vietnam overcome the crisis and keep up with the overall trend of other electronic sports. That is Thien Khoi Espots.
Thien Khoi Esports – “Ships between the barren land”
In 2023 witnessed AoE Viet's background covered by an extremely quiet and dark atmosphere. Not only the number of professional AOE tournaments are very limited, but even the daily matches gradually become faded. The spiritual food that fans especially loves is called 4vs4 Random even forgotten, just because the AOE Clan is not salty, not motivated and irony is “there is no enough people to play”. The precarious income issue has made many professional gamers stand in the middle of the turn: continue with passion for AOE or retired. And there are those who have chosen the following to find a suitable job to ensure more life.
However, on July 19 of that year, Thien Khoi Group – a unit in the field of brokerage technology that had been successful with a 7 -person movement football – announcing the establishment of a professional AOE team called Thien Khoi Esports. The appearance of Thien Khoi Esports immediately helps the AOE community to solve the most essential issues: the first is “revival” of some gamers between the retired line, which is citrus, small tender or mai ty, and helps to enhance young talent – 2K1 Bac Ninh. And then, it was the thirst for the top AoE tournaments, thirst for the fans' random matches.
Right in the beginning of August, the AoE Thien Khoi Cup tournament 2023 – 4VS4 Random was held, gathering 5 professional AOE clan including: host Thien Khoi Esports, SBS (CSDN Studio), Vitamin, EGO, VEC and 1 semi -specialized Clan as AOE Kinh Bac. The tournament was successful, created effects in the community and also opened an exciting year -end period, with friendly matches as well as high quality AOE tournaments.
The idea of the path of Aoe Viet
Following the praiseworthy signals, Thien Khoi Esports proposed a long -term, very clear and methodical roadmap. The first is the idea of establishing the AOE Vietnam Association, more wider than the AOE Vietnam – China Federation, in which each professional AOE Clan is a member of the Association, equal in terms of obligations and benefits when organizing the tournament. Next is the proposal of “copyrighted broadcasting” or “image copyright” in professional AOE tournaments, with the goal of exploiting the image of players and teams effectively, thereby helping the AOE players themselves receive sustainable income and commensurate with the contribution in the tournament.
Those are really two bold ideas in 15 years of professional AOE formation in Vietnam without any unit thinking. In fact, two models of associations/ federations as well as image copyrights have been successfully applied in the process of developing sports (such as football) and electronic sports (such as League of Legends). Therefore, Thien Khoi Esports believes that they are also perfectly consistent with the reality of AOE Viet, which is to help all professional AOE players receive adequate income in the tournament, while creating a truly sustainable AOE system to help the units develop together.
In order to prove the effectiveness of the “image copyright”, as well as the desire to help Aoe Viet to reach the reach, Thien Khoi Esports has organized many professional tournaments in 2024. Opening the “image copyright” is the AOE Viet Trung – Cup Thien Khoi tournament with the total value of the prize and image copyright of more than 1 billion VND. Next is Thien Khoi Cup 1.2 and 3. Along with that, this unit also successfully bid for the “Image Copyright” package in traditional tournaments such as the baby loved the 2024 Cup, Hanoi Open 2024 or the AOE Chinese tournaments such as the Great Master Cup, the quintessential trophy. In total, there were 8 AOE tournaments that were applied “Image copyright” package in 2024.
Results: A newly started but incomplete phase
Still know the road ahead is certainly very long, but the initial results that Thien Khoi Esports made for AoE Viet is undeniable. The first is the great success of the AoE Viet Trung tournament 2024. The tournament not only left a mark with fans of both countries but also initially demonstrated the correctness of the image copyright, when the participants received actual values, which is commensurate with contribution.
Along with that, the tournament system organized by Thien Khoi Esports as well as the prizes applied the image copyright in 2024 (total of 8 prizes) brought a good source of income for the clan, including semi -specialized. Even for non -specialized gamers to attend the preliminary round, just a broadcast on a match is paid for the image copyright without having to leave. The election of Thien Khoi Esports shared: “Television copyright is the financial account that acknowledged the labor of gamers even though they lost. Whether you succeed or fail, those who step up the glory of this subject must thank you, because you are the ones who help them create values and have a foothold in the community. ”
But unfortunately, the plan of Thien Khoi Esports has not been able to bring a complete result. Because while 3 Clan Ego, VEC and Aoe Kinh Bac and a part of the audience in the community support the values that the “image copyright” brings, the sparrows go to the sun and vitamins are not ready to change. These two units want to continue to organize tournaments in the traditional way. At the same time, they also show the view that they will not buy the “image copyright” of other units, nor sell the “image copyright” to the units in need. This has made units such as EGO, VEC, … no longer salty to attend tournaments organized by the database of Studo or vitamins, when the income source is not guaranteed.
Thien Khoi Esports said they also tried to persuade the database of studios and vitamins many times, but then still did not receive the consensus of the establishment of the association or building image copyright packages in the tournaments.
“New order” of the Vietnamese AoE community
With the practical values that the “image copyright” brings, Thien Khoi Esports has found a new direction for the community, which is a modern, professional, equal and financial direction. However, when the dialogue with sparrows went to sunshine and vitamins did not go to the necessary handshakes, AOE Viet fell into a “split” state.
Specifically, one side includes Thien Khoi Esports, Ego, VEC, Aoe Kinh Bac and a part of the audience dedicated to the image of the image. The other half is a sparrow going to the studio, vitamins and fans who decided to protest on the old path as before. This has made AOE tournaments from 2024 so far that they cannot gather all the best people, nor can they achieve the audience watching as expected, when all are divided into two half.
Obviously, Thien Khoi Esports is carrying in itself a strong reform, with the goal of laying the foundation for a AOE community that can develop further in the future. However, so far, all reforms have never been easy. AOE Viet has Thien Khoi Esports paving the way to create a necessary transformation, but after all, the change cannot be only from one side. In order to change, it is necessary to have consensus, solidarity and more importantly a common vision – where all the clans and the audience look in the same direction, join hands to build a sustainable future for AoE Vietnamese.
