On the afternoon of May 19, the final of the MSI 2024 International Tournament (MID-SEASON INVITAL 2024) took place with the participation of the two leading League of Legends teams in the world, Gen.G (Korea) and Bilibili Gaming (China). Defeating Bilibili Gaming with an overwhelming score of 3-1, Gen.G has officially become the champion and became the first team to win tickets to Worlds 2024 if passing the LCK group stage 2024.
It is known that this is the first time Gen.G has won the international championship title and is also the first time the LCK team has regained the MSI championship trophy after 7 years of dropping the opportunity to enter the teams from other areas.
